Having worked in a highly stressful job, I personally know the impact it can have on people’s physical and mental wellbeing. After seeing family and colleagues suffering from low morale, high levels of sick leave and a general lack of wellbeing, something had to change. I started giving coworkers short 5 minute massages and word got out, leaving myself with a queue of colleagues!
This sparked an idea. What if my innate desire to help people and interest in massage could be combined to start a business? What if companies and organisations could boost morale, reduce sick leave and increase wellbeing of their staff through the power of massage?
The Little Calm Company was launched in 2017 and now with over 300 corporate clients, I’ve never looked back. My aim is to help other like minded people serve their own local businesses through this franchise opportunity. Our goal is to develop a national network of people serving their local community and growing a flexible and profitable business under one joint brand.

What we are looking for
There are two types of people we are looking for. Either you’re a trained massage therapist looking to grow your own flexible business or you’re changing career and have a passion to help people whilst working flexibly. We have additional training for those who aren’t from a massage background.

Because profit margins depend heavily on your territory and how efficiently you operate, we go through a more detailed projection in a one-to-one session.

Franchise Investment cost
The cost of investment to become a Little Calm Company franchisee will depend on a few things including if you have existing massage qualifications and size of territory.
Below are some indicative costs:
Franchise Set-up: £3000
Massage Training (if applicable): £900 + vat
There is an ongoing management service fee of 10% (of gross revenue) paid quarterly.
